Dr. Kavita Bapat received her medical degree from Dr. D. Y. Patil Medical College in Mumbai, India, and completed her general pediatrics residency at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center. She is board certified by The American Board of Pediatrics. Dr. Bapat’s wide ranging clinical experience includes work at UT Physicians in Houston and a Louisiana-based private pediatric practice. Her areas of interest include neonatal ICU graduates and children with special needs. She enjoys connecting with patients and their families, understanding that children are the most delicate and vulnerable of patients.

Dr. Bapat joined Bootin and Savrick Pediatric Associates in May 2019. Apart from her love of pediatrics and patient care, she enjoys traveling, spending time with her family, gardening, painting and volunteering for animal welfare groups. She is fluent in English, Hindi and medical Spanish.
